Ermine should have a pearl white body lightly tipped with black, blue, chocolate, or lilac. Amount of tipping may vary from a lot to almost none.

The eyes may be brown or blue gray for black or chocolate varieties and should blue gray for blue or lilac varieties.

The nails may be light or dark depending on the animal.
